The Bronx Bombers are on a roll!!! The Yankees may in fact be back. They just swept the AL East leading Blue Jays, and now they walk off against the Rays. Imagine if this young Yankees could sneak their way into the playoffs. It wasn’t a great pitching performance from the team with C.C only going four innings, but the bats, especially Tyler Austin propelled the Yankees to the win. Austin went 2-4, and the walk-off home run was Austin’s third of the season. Also Brian McCann had a stellar game hitting two dingers, bringing his season total to nineteen. McCann went 3-4 in the game with 2 RBI. With the win the Yankees are now only four games out of first place, and two games out of the wildcard. With all the young talent, the yankees may prove to be a underdog that could use their youth to possibly sneak their way into the playoffs, and maybe even the World Series.
