Philadelphia’s prayers may have been answered. They look like they finally have found a Quarterback to lead their team. Rookie Carson Wentz and the Eagles beat the Bears 29-14. Wentz was 21-34 for 190 yards and a touchdown. His favorite receiver in the game was Jordan Matthews. Matthews had 6 catches for 71 yards. Eagles coach Doug Pederson talked after the game about Wentz:”He took care of the football and made some nice, tough throws. It wasn’t perfect. But at the same time, he’s seeing things really well. And he’s commanding the huddle and dialog on the sideline with the players and coaches is something that a nine or 10-year vet would do.” The Bears had a tough loss, as Quarterback Jay Cutler was injured in the game, and had to be replaced by Brian Hoyer. Wentz has giving the Eagles a 2-0 start, and looks like he can help this team win for years to come.
