It was a rough game to watch, but the New England Patriots edged out a victory in Pittsburgh defeating the Steelers 27-16. The game wasn’t supposed to be this close as Big Ben was sidelined with an injury. Landry Jones was the quarterback. You read that right Landry Jones. He actually had a good game completing 29 passes out of 47 attempts. He had 281 passing yards, a touchdown, and one interception. Malcom Butler had the one pick, and lets just say he knows how to make big plays. Overall it was a so-so day for TB12. It’s bound to happen with the level he plays at. Most Quarterbacks in the NFL would pray for a game like Brady. Tom Terrific was 19 for 26 throwing for 222 yards, and two touchdowns. He didn’t need to have an amazing game, because running back Legarrette Blount was running all over the Pittsburgh defense. He had 24 carries for 127 yards, and two touchdowns. With the way things are going this looks to be a career season for Blount. Hey NFL, Rob Gronkowski is back. He wasn’t really even gone. Gronk had 4 catches on Sunday for 93 yards, and a touchdown. Gronkowski is now tied for the most touchdowns in Patriots history. When asked about it he was really happy to talk about it.

Another big draw from this game is that Stephen Gostkowski can not kick consistently right now. Gostkowski missed an extra point that could have been costly if it wasn’t for the Patriots defense. The Patriots are off to Buffalo to face Rex Ryan, and the Buffalo Bills.
