Life After Kobe Is Not As Bad As Expected

Well I did not expect that. The Los Angeles Lakers came out firing, and defeated all star James Harden, and the Houston Rockets, 120-114. The young trio of Julius Randle, D’Angelo Russell and Jordan led the Lakers. Clarkson came off the bench to score 25 points in 25 minutes. Russell had 20 points to kick off the season, and Julius Randle finished with 18 points 7 rebounds, and 6 assists. For the Rockets we found out that James Harden can actually pass the ball. Harden started at Point Guard for the first time with the Rockets. He still netted a decent 34 points, but also had an astounding 17 assists, and 8 rebounds. It was truly astonishing to watch a player who is viewed as a ball-hog show his ability to share the ball, and do it efficiently. These teams weren’t expected to do much, but if they can keep this play up they can make things interesting in an already intriguing Western Conference.
