Dak and Zeke Lead The Boys to Victory in Pittsburgh

960x0

What a game that was. The Dallas Cowboys defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers 35-30 in an impressive game for the now young Cowboys. The rookie standouts performed absolutely excellent. Dak Prescott was 22 of 32 throwing for 319 yards and two touchdowns. Running back Ezekiel Elliot had an amazing showing having 21 carries for 114 yards and two touchdowns. Elliot also had an amazing receiving game catching 2 balls for 95 yards and a touchdown. Also, it looks like Dez Bryant has a great connection with his rookie quarterback. Bryant had 6 catches for 116 yards and a touchdown. On the other side of the pigskin Quarterback, Ben Roethlisberger was finding his good pal, Antonio Brown, as much as possible. Roethlisberger was 37 of 46 throwing for 408 yards and 3 touchdowns. Antonio Brown caught 14 catches for 154 yards and a touchdown. The touchdown was a stunning fake spike that absolutely fooled the Cowboys defense. Ezekiel Elliot talked about his game-winning touchdown saying, “It parted like the Red Sea, all I had to do was run.” An import thing to note is that Owner Jerry Jones said that even though Quarterback Tony Romo is healthy they are sticking with the rookie quarterback. “I think the longer (Prescott) plays like this, the more we have a chance to have another win,” Jones said. “Everybody here wants to do one thing and that’s win. There’s nobody that would introduce any other issue or any other consideration than doing what it takes to win the game.” Watch out NFL because it looks like the Cowboys are going to make a serious run when playoff season arrives.
