The Kansas City Chiefs overcame a 17 point deficit to defeat the Carolina Panthers on Sunday. The Chiefs offense really struggled not scoring any touchdowns. On the other side of the ball, Cam Newton showed why he is such a great quarterback. Newton was 23 of 38 throwing for 261 yards and a touchdown. Cam also ran the ball well with 12 rushes for 54 yards and a rushing touchdown. With that, the Dab had returned.
Then after being up 17 points in the first half things began to crumble. Newton threw an interception at 10:32 in the 4th quarter. Eric Berry caught the ball and had an absolutely amazing return for a touchdown. Then near the end of the 4th quarter, Kelvin Benjamin was stripped of the ball by Cornerback Marcus Peters with 20 seconds remaining in the game. Peters returned the ball, and eventually lead the chiefs to the game-winning 37-yard field goal. With the win, the Chiefs are now tied with the Oakland Raiders for the lead in the AFC West.
