Yanks Trade McCann For Prospects

Well if it wasn’t official last season it certainly is now. The New York Yankees are in rebuilding mode. They traded catcher Brian McCann for Albert Abreu and Jorge Guzman. With the emergence of Gary Sanchez last season there was no reason to have two starting catchers on the roster. The two pitchers give some depth in the Yankees minor league system and opens up more cap space as well. You know there is a certain player who wears the number 34

I’m just saying the Yankees are looking for the face of the franchise and I would say Bryce Harper fits that mold pretty well.
