Meh, that’s just the reaction I have to this game. This just was an average game by the Pats. They beat the New York Jets 22-17. Quarterback Tom Brady was 30 of 50 throwing for 286 yards and two touchdowns. The victory was Brady’s 200th of his career. The next win by the Patriots would make Brady the winningest quarterback in the history of the NFL. “The quarterback’s job is to win,” Head Coach Bill Belichick said. “He’s won a lot. That’s good. I’m glad he’s our quarterback.” Brady threw a touchdown with 1:56 left in the game to secure the victory for the Patriots. The man who caught that pass was rookie Malcolm Mitchell. The rookie has been playing great as of late. He caught 5 passes for 42 yards and caught two touchdown passes. The secondary didn’t have a spectacular game but they were able to cause turnovers. Malcolm Butler punched a ball out of Robby Anderson’s hands to get Brady and the offense the ball. Also defensive end Chris Long forced a fumble that was recovered by Trey Flowers. This allowed the Patriots to run out the clock and secure the win. Lastly, with regards to the special teams Alan Branch who is appealing a 4-game suspension. Dont’a Hightower recovered the ball. Now the Patriots are atop the AFC standings.
