OKC Comes Out On Top Versus Knicks


Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the New York Knicks 112-103. Westbrook had a phenomenal game with 27 points 18 rebounds and 14 assists. It was his eighth triple-double on the season. He is now averaging a triple double for the season with his average points per game being 30.9, rebounds at 10.3 and assists at 11.3. He is having an amazing season and being able to excel even with the loss of Kevin Durant. His coach Billy Donovan talked about his extraordinary play saying, “He is going to put up numbers because of his ability and just how hard he plays and his gifts, but he’s doing a lot of other things that the stat sheet doesn’t measure. I know everybody is focused on that right now and rightfully so. It’s historic what he’s doing. But he’s really a complete point guard all the way around.” Also, Enes Kanter had 27 points off the bench for the Thunder which was a season high for the Center. Derrick Rose was the star for the Knicks last night scoring 30 points with 7 rebounds and 4 assists. His 30 points was a new season high.
