The Celtics came back to force the game into overtime but it wasn’t enough to beat the Detroit Pistons as they lost 121-114. Isaiah once again had a stellar performance. He had 27 points and 4 assists. The Pistons just had a complete effort from the whole team with 4 out of their 5 starters scoring 20 points or more. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope was the top scorer for the team with 25 points 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Also, Pistons Center Andre Drummond had a double-double with 20 points and 17 rebounds. Drummond is a beast on the boards and is one of the league’s dominant big men. Once again Boston was outrebounded by an opposing team. Detroit had 19 more rebounds than the Celtics. This problem was supposed to be fixed with the addition of Al Horford but the C’s still lack a presence in the paint. The Celtics look to rebound on Friday against the measly Sacramento Kings and Boogie Cousins.
