The Patriots beat the Baltimore Ravens 30-23 but it was a much bigger blowout. Tom Brady once again had an amazing game. He was 25 of 38 with 406 passing yards and three touchdowns. “It was a big game for us,” Brady said. “You play at home in December on Monday night against a great defense, it was important for us to come out and play well. We knew it was gonna be a 60-minute game.” Also once again LeGarrette Blount continued his tremendous season scoring his 14th rushing touchdown of the season. Also, Blount secured his first 1000 yard season since his rookie season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2010. It is a contract year for Blount and I think he should be apart of the future of this offense. Chris Hogan had a big game with 5 catches for 129 yards and a touchdown. The big drawback was special teams. We did have Shea McClellin who hopped over the center to block a kick but Cyrus Jones absolutely sucked. He essentially caused two fumbles and I don’t see him returning to this team. The defense played great even netting a safety to secure the first points of the game. The Patriots look to keep up their momentum as they head to Denver to play in the tough mile high atmosphere.
