This holiday season Carson Wentz decided to buy his offensive line some $2,000 shotguns. A Beretta shotgun to be exact each personalized with the player’s number engraved on the butt of the gun.
“This is an awesome gun. I’m excited about it,” said Allen Barbre, a fellow hunter. Barbre believes the Beretta model is a Silver Pigeon, which retails around $2,000 a pop. “I don’t know if I’ll shoot it, though. It’s pretty nice.”
“I like to go clay shooting and stuff,” added Brandon Brooks. “All I’ve got is a home defense tactical shotgun, short barrel, so I was looking for one of these.”
“I haven’t really held a gun or anything before,” rookie Isaac Seumalo said.”But I’m more than thankful for it. It looks sweet. Carson said he’d teach me how to use it and all that good stuff.”
Personally, I don’t think this is a good look for Wentz. He is just setting up his teammates to break the law. We had Aquib Talib this offseason and I don’t know if you remember a guy who happened to play for the Patriots kinda killed some people. I’m telling you to watch out. Seumelo might just get trigger happy one day.
Also, Wentz has made it known that he is a devout Christian. Yo Wentz, don’t know how our man JC is gonna feel about this. One of the 10 commandments is “thou shall not kill” and I’m pretty sure by the transitive property this somehow falls under that. So don’t expect Carson Wentz to have any success as an NFL quarterback.
