Shame on Julio Jones for ruining his QB’s chances of winning the MVP award. After the Falcons played the Seattle Seahawks Jones felt as if he was being held by cornerback Richard Sherman. So now as Atlanta will be playing the Seahawks in the playoffs Jones made sure that the corner would know that this wouldn’t be allowed a second time.
“When we’re in a game, I’ll go look at them like that and say, ‘You didn’t see it?’ if they didn’t see it,” Jones told ESPN.com. “I’m not going to sit up there and cry about anything. It is what it is. But you’ve got to alert them. Some refs just let you play, too. It’s like, ‘All right, you’re going to let us play? Then we’re going to go out here and play. If you’re going to call it, call it. Just let me know how you’re going to officiate this game.'” Jones continued saying “But if you grab me early, I’m going to let the ref know. And if they’re not calling it, it’s going to be a physical game.”
Nobody likes a snitch and that seems to be what Julio Jones is. Personally I feel that this will greatly affect quarterback Matt Ryan’s MVP chances. This further solidifies Tom Brady’s MVP chances. This is just a selfish move by Julio.
Seattle is going to win by 20 because they are already in Atlanta’s head.
