The Atlanta Falcons proved that they are a team that should not be taken lightly. They defeated the Seattle Seahawks 36-20.
Falcons Quarterback Matt Ryan was 26 of 37 for 338 yards and three touchdowns. He stayed cool under pressure living up to his “Matty Ice” nickname. He left the field to MVP chants. “It was pretty cool considering the circumstances, too, with the game in hand,” Ryan said. “That’s got to be as loud as it’s ever been in here.” Ryan hooked up with Julio Jones who had 6 catches for 67 yards and a touchdown.
The Seahawks couldn’t really get anything going during the game and personally I think it has to do with their Quarterback. Russell Wilson didn’t have his head in the game and it’s due to one single man.
How can you concentrate when your fiancee’s ex shows up to the game. Also, peep the sign in the background. Wilson threw two picks and as I said in our Against The Spread video (Against The Spread Presented By Off The Rip Sports) Future was the x-factor. Also, Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll really seemed confused by the loss and looked perplexed the whole game. “It’s just really hard to think it’s over,” said Carroll.
The Falcons face the Green Bay Packers next Sunday.
